Negative experience: Renting with Somos Casa has undoubtedly been the worst experience I have ever had. This agency is completely negligent, abusive, and only cares about collecting money. They rented me an apartment for an outrageous price, but the condition of the place was deplorable. When I moved in, as a single mother with a 6-month-old baby, I found an apartment filled with garbage and broken furniture: a destroyed sofa in the living room, dirty mattresses thrown in the yard, and all the blinds broken. The patio door didn’t even close, leaving the home completely unsafe. Furthermore, the freezer made such a loud noise that it would wake my baby and me up at night. Of course, they never replaced it despite my repeated complaints. The state of cleanliness was simply disgusting. The freezer was still full of food from previous tenants, there was dust everywhere, and the appliances were so dirty that they weren’t even usable. After sending dozens of emails asking for help, it took them two weeks to respond and propose sending someone to clean. By then, I had already hired someone myself because my child's safety was at stake. I deducted the amount spent from the rent, and they agreed to accept it, but naturally, now they are deducting it from the security deposit refund. Somos Casa also didn’t deposit the security deposit in Incasol until after six months, despite my repeated emails. The only way to get responses from them was to stop payments or send them official letters. Every time I raised an issue, they blamed the landlord, saying that they 'are just facilitators.' However, they facilitate nothing. They ignore any responsibility and resolve absolutely nothing. Eventually, I decided to move out because I was not willing to continue living in those conditions while they did nothing to fix it. Even getting my deposit back is a nightmare. It took them three months to return part of it, and they still owe me money. They do not comply with laws or tenant rights. Among their suspicious reviews, you will find dozens of testimonies similar to mine. Believe me, they are true. Somos Casa is an agency of scammers and unethical people. I am seriously considering a group action against them. Avoid them at all costs.

Eduardo is an excellent agent who accompanied us until the end of the purchase of our apartment. Always available and friendly. Then two days later they call us saying that the owner is looking for more temporary people. So why do they make us pay and tell us that the apartment is ours? A professional and respectful real estate agency knows that they are looking for the owner and does not scam tenants. It's a shame. We are going to call the police for fraud if by Monday we don't have proof that they returned the €1300. They have made us reject an apartment with their lies, and now we are left without money and without a home. Because of vultures like you, Barcelona is falling apart!
Fantastic experience: Over the two years that we've had the Somoscasa team as administrators, all the setbacks that have arisen have been managed quickly and professionally, taking care of our interests as tenants and those of the property owner. The communication is super fluid and the solutions offered are always effective. Negative experience: We were tenants in a property managed by them for several years. Xavi and Marta seemed formal and reliable before the contract was signed. Once you sign the contract, they only care about the owner's interests without mediating at all. A faucet hose broke and we had to cover the parquet damage 100% ourselves: €1,200. They made structural renovations in the building, changing almost all the ceiling of our apartment while we lived inside for two months, paying 100% of the rent, and not only to us; they also did this to elderly people living in the stairwell. They only care about money. It has nothing to do with the apartment we live in now, managed by another real estate agency, where they logically mediate between the owner and the tenant. If you can avoid renting with them, you will gain in health... we do not recommend them.

Negative experience: I left the apartment more than 2 months ago, and I am still receiving utility bills, as when I left the apartment, they told me not to change the ownership of the supplies, as they had to do it. It was the worst mistake; I should have canceled them immediately. When they finally decided to respond, they told me that I had to pay for them (months after I no longer lived in that apartment) and that they would reimburse me later. Of course, I didn’t do it because they never fulfill what is agreed upon. We had a broken heater for 5 months, and they said they would replace it but never did. For the return of the deposit, we had to chase them for weeks, and they didn't respond to emails or phone calls. It was a draining and unfair experience. AVOID THEM.

Negative experience: TOTAL CARE WITH THESE PEOPLE Nonexistent professionalism and transparency. We had visited a house and went to the agency to book it the next day. They told us that the agent was not available at that moment and that they would contact us to send the documents online. After that, the agents - Marta Melero and Xavier Nogues from the Les Corts office - disappeared for a day without answering calls or messages. Then, another agent informed us the next day that the house had been booked the previous afternoon by other clients. Finally, we requested, as is customary, that they prove to us that the owner was aware of the double offer on the same day, but they refused to give us an answer. Outrageous behavior, with significant detriment to both owners and buyers. Stay absolutely away and distrust these 'professionals'.

Fantastic experience: I have been relying on their collaboration for many years and my experience has always been very positive. A team of highly competent and dedicated professionals.
Negative experience: Fatal experience with this real estate agency. Everyone was super clueless and scam artists (they were pretending to be clueless on purpose). The person who showed us the place assured us that if we made the reservation, the apartment was ours, and that he would send us an email with all the information. That email never arrived. We spent the whole afternoon calling, and when they finally answered, they told us we had an interview to make the reservation on Tuesday morning, when no one had told us anything before. It turned out that this interview was for another group, and they didn't inform us until we were there physically. Even so, they told us we could wait for the first group to finish their interview so that we could do ours, and we decided to wait. The first group took 1 hour; when we went in, we finished in 5 minutes, and we didn’t quite understand why. They told us to send all the necessary information anyway, as according to them we had the same chances of getting the apartment. A day after sending all the information, having received no response, we decided to call. They started pretending to be clueless again and finally told us that the first group that had interviewed had already gone to pay and sign the contract. Don't trust them at all.
Negative experience: They are shameless. They scheduled us for a visit yesterday at 7:00 PM. My partner and I had to ask for permission at work. When we arrived, no one opened the door for us. We called the phone and no one answered. Terrible. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate service. It's disappointing that they treat people this way.

Fantastic experience: We were looking for a rental in Barcelona and only had availability to view apartments on the day we contacted the SOMOSCASA team. The sales team (we personally met Dídac) did everything necessary to show us the apartment, even though it was not fully ready. We had arranged a visit time, I traveled to the property (far from my current neighborhood), I organized my schedule and the day with everything that entails. After 10 minutes of waiting (having notified my arrival and having called without getting a response), they sent me a WhatsApp message to announce that the apartment has been reserved. Please, have respect for people's time and work with more professionalism.

Negative experience: We were in an apartment for two and a half years, always complying with everything as it should be. Upon leaving the apartment: they returned the deposit late, charged us cleaning fees that we were not responsible for, held €100 for utility bills that were always paid, and it took them more than a month to change the ownership of the electricity and gas, for which I had to pay bills that were not mine. When I complained, they said it depended on the owner. Additionally, the apartment did not have a habitability certificate or energy certificate, which was always in process. We had a fire, and all they did was patch things up and avoid paying. They always paid the minimum and what was necessary. Both the real estate agency and the owner have behaved deplorably. I'm glad to no longer have to deal with them.

Negative experience: The worst experience I have ever had with a real estate agency. Infinite phone calls and emails without response, bad attitudes from the workers, and absolutely no effectiveness in solving any problems. They only care about collecting. They held our deposit for more than 3 months, tried to charge us invoices that did not belong to us, and did not resolve any of this until an email arrived from our lawyer. I would not recommend this place or its services to anyone.
Negative experience: My initial experience with this real estate agency was excellent: I received cordial and professional treatment during the rental process. However, once the contract was signed, communication became non-existent. They never responded to our requests for assistance with the problems that arose in the apartment during our stay. Moreover, they unjustly withheld our deposit at the end of the contract without providing a proper explanation. To make matters worse, they asked us not to cancel the services because they would take care of it, but to date, two months later, we are still waiting for them to keep their word. This situation is a shame, a disrespect towards tenants, and ultimately, an act of theft. I would not recommend this real estate agency to anyone due to their lack of professionalism and ethics.

THEY MAKE YOU GO FOR AN INTERVIEW FOR AN APARTMENT, THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE ACCEPTED, TO PAY THE DEPOSIT, AND AFTER 1 WEEK WHEN YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO MOVE IN THEY TELL YOU THAT IN THE END NO AND ONLY BECAUSE I CALLED 25 THOUSAND TIMES!!!! AVOID THIS REAL ESTATE AGENCY!!!

Negative experience: Be very careful with this agency. The apartment was in a deplorable state. They ask for a lot of money as a deposit that they do not return. We have been chasing them for 7 months and they do not answer calls or emails, or if they do, they procrastinate. After 7 months, they are still charging us for the electricity and gas bills from the following months. Not recommended at all.
