Negative experience: Very bad experience with the deposit refund: they did not comply with the 30-day deadline stipulated in the contract, applied discounts without prior notice or clear justification, and we had to insist several times to get responses and request the corresponding invoices. They charged us for a defect in the washing machine that was in perfect condition according to the final report they sent us, and another charge for a 'hidden defect' that was not initially detailed, raising doubts about its validity. We are still waiting for the refund due to the washing machine error. Not very transparent and unprofessional in their management.
Positive experience: I have tried to contact you and have not received a response, I would like to know if it is possible for you to get in touch with me.
Negative experience: Incredibly poor service. The rental process was overall fine but it ends there. After you start your rent they say the property will mange your rental. Takes ages for anyone to respond to any email and fix anything that is broken in the apartment. We finished our contract on the 19th of August, legally, they have 30 days to give back our deposit. It has still not been returned. We send dozens of emails everyday and they get completely ignored by the company and the property. No responsibility and no professionalism after you pay them anything. Run away as fast as you can, this is not a company you want to get in business with

Negative experience: The worst agency I have ever had to deal with in my entire life! The treatment we received was 'annoying', they treat you like an individual from whom they need to extract money, not like people. Before signing the contract and paying to enter the apartment, they are the most attentive and available in the world. Once the payment is made, they disappear and leave you in the hands of nobody. Still, what bothered me the most was the arrogance and rudeness of the staff (especially the girls who work in customer service) when there are issues related to the apartment and you need help. You talk to them and explain the problems, and they treat you like you are stupid. This happened to us several times with issues related to contract renewal and cleaning costs (€200 for cleaning costs at the end of the contract seems outrageous to me, and I even doubt they really do it; regarding entering our apartment, the floor and the furniture probably hadn't received any cleaning worth €200, not even €50!). In short, I truly hope that anyone who needs to find an apartment in Barcelona can read the reviews that appear on Google, because we are all complaining about the service and the treatment received.
We regret the dissatisfaction, but as we have verified during your stay, all incidents were resolved, even when you requested assistance from the customer service team for daily life issues. Fortunately, the vast majority of our customers are happy with our services, which is reflected in the positive comments and the more than 20 years we have been renting seasonal apartments. Unfortunately, many people tend to make up reviews, duplicate them, or ask friends to leave false comments, which should be reported.
Negative experience: If you’re thinking of renting a house with ATBarcelona, find somewhere else to live. They are completely incompetent and they’ve made the rental process extremely stressful. 1. They gave us the wrong key when we arrived in Barcelona. Because we had to pick up the key at their office and then travel to the apartment, we then had to wait outside for an hour in the rain while they sent someone to help us. 2. The inventory was so inaccurate we had to re-write it ourselves. It had clearly been written years ago - there were items which were no longer in the apartment, or were broken, inaccurate measurements, and many many items in the apartment which hadn’t been documented by ATBarcelona. The wifi network and password they provided us was incorrect as well. We had to spend a lot of time re-doing their work. 3. They didn’t provide us with the correct documents for the empadronamiento until we prompted them. Again, it was just more things for us to worry about when moving into a new place. 4. We like the apartment itself, but it’s very run down. The walls are extremely scuffed, items are broken, and there are stains on many of the tables. Some of the cooking implements they have provided are unusable and we have had to buy our own. 5. They were great during the viewing process, but as soon as we transferred them the holding fee they stopped replying to our emails. They will chase you until they get your money and then ignore you. 6. After 2 weeks in our rental property, they have now informed us the property will be managed by the owners. We paid ATBarcelona 1800EUR to manage our property for the year, and have not received any kind of service we paid for. We are extremely disappointed. EDIT: ATBarcelona don’t seem to know who their clients are - here’s the contract I signed as proof I’m a customer as they’re falsely accusing me of not being a customer

Negative experience: Extremely poor service. Very high touch before you pay anything but as soon as you pay them their fee it is difficult to get a response. Our apartment is lovely, but on the move-in day we were given the wrong key so we couldn’t get in. The inventory we were provided was so wrong that we had to re-write it completely, but we haven’t heard back from them about any repairs etc. that are needed. The WiFi network and password provided were also wrong so we were without WiFi for a while. Also management of the property transferred from them to the owner after only two weeks so we have paid a fee of €1800 to the agency (the highest fee we have ever seen) to be managed for 2 weeks with a terrible service. They have many nice properties, but being managed by them is not worth the hassle no matter how nice it is. The only blessing is that we will no longer have to deal with them

Fantastic experience: We have just finished a temporary rental contract with the agency, and the truth is that beyond the reviews I see here, they have been very transparent and diligent with us throughout the process. I won't go into details about their fees as I don't know if it's a lot or a little for the market, but when we started the rental, they seemed correct and were clear from day one. Guillermo, who was our contact person from ATBarcelona, always responded quickly and sought to resolve any issues we had, keeping us informed of the situation at all times. Negative experience: Very unhappy with this real estate agency! We have not lived in one of their apartments since JULY 2023 and as of today JANUARY 2024, we are still receiving charges and notices of unpaid utility bills from the new tenants. This is all because AT Barcelona did not bother to make the ownership change until NOVEMBER, after insisting persistently for five months.

Negative experience: Beautiful apartment in the upper prices but still worth it for the location and space. Communicating with the person in charge of my apartment was tedious as they would take a long time to reply to emails and/or they were on vacation every time I emailed. When the fridge broke it took them three weeks to get it fixed and they brought back a smaller fridge despite asking me to measure the space and old fridge for them...The water and light was included in the monthly rent price I paid but when I moved out I was charged an additional fee for "overusing the light and water" (charged over 150 euros for it) and additional cleaning fees were charged which was 150 euros which is absurd since they told me I had to clean before I moved out. I checked the apartment with the agent and she never mentioned that they would discount 150 euros for cleaning and then 165+ for the light and water which she should have mentioned so i would be aware. When i first signed the contract I had to make a 2,000 euro deposit not including the monthly fees and the agency fees. Overall its very costly and communication can improve on their end.

Fantastic experience: I was renting the apartment with ATBarcelona for 7 months and my experience was great. 1st of all, it's the only agency in BCN, which didn't refuse to cooperate with my non-spanish documents. The process of negotiating was surprisingly easy - I was renting and signing the contract remotely, while being in different country and everything went very smooth. Yes, the deposit I gave was much higher than usual, but I've got it back in full without any problem and right on time. In case of any issues appearing in the property, the agency was very responsive and helpful, fixing or just supporting effectively and fast. All my managers were polite and nice. I will recommend this agency and in case of a need will get back to their services at first. Thanks Ana and Jennifer! :)

Negative experience: Go to another agency! For almost one month my window and toilet flush are broken. They charge you 150€ for a cleaning fee and the flat is dirty when you enter. This agency only treats you well before you sign the contract. Many things from the inventory are missing, and the ones available (e.g. toaster, sandwich maker are broken). No one replies your emails, only when they want to remind you to pay the reservation fee. Look for another place.
Hello, Our apartments are properly furnished and equipped and are delivered clean and disinfected, but the apartment you have rented is not managed by us.

Fantastic experience: Our manager for 3 years was Jennifer Martínez and she has always been very cordial and professional. We are very happy with the care and treatment received.
Negative experience: Repairs that should be the owner's responsibility were charged to my account without warning (which resulted in a negative balance and interest to the bank). When the lease ended, they failed to transfer the fixed expense contracts back to the owner for two months. Four months later, I am still receiving reminders for electricity and gas that were used after I returned the key. They mostly ghost me. And when they respond, they message that the contracts were terminated a few days after moving out when I actually have written confirmation from the electricity and gas companies that this is a lie! Ana signed the lease, but takes no responsibility. She just passes it on to Lucia, who rarely responds. Stay away! Choose someone else who is a little professional at customer service after the contract is signed too! Response to Barcelona's comment: So they transferred the contracts out of their kindness? I asked Lucia what I needed to do to get the contracts out of my name. Lucia insisted that this should be handled by Barcelona because they wanted to check for any outstanding issues that hadn't been invoiced yet! I have written confirmation that the electricity contract was not transferred from my name until TWO months after I moved out. I moved out on March 31. The TWO outstanding bills pertain to April and May. I've sent them to both Lucia and Ana along with the email from the electricity company! So yet another lie! The invoices have been sent multiple times before too! And last week as well. Are they deleting the emails instead of reading them or what? It’s not money I owe. It’s consumption that occurred after I returned the key. The March bill was paid by me as it should be. Stay away from Barcelona! They are unreliable! And if you *have to* rent from them, make sure to take pictures when you move in, send them to the agency, and go to a notary to get them registered. Otherwise, they will say the pictures are fake and you won't get your deposit back either. It's been 5 months and I still haven't received it!

Fantastic experience: Normally I do not write any reviews on google, but since this company has so many bad reviews I want to write my honest opinion and experience with this agency, after they asked me to. By coincidence I walked in to this agency, after searching a house in Barcelona. Fortunately I have a very very nice house, which is just fully renovated and all furnish is brand new and super nice (beds are really comfy and huge tv for example). The price quality is good. So the house and everything is really nice thanks a lot for all the care ANA, but when it comes to communication after the contract is signed there could be some improvement. I don't want to go in detail, but I think this is an agency thing. After we signed the contract and we were given the keys, they didn't respond sometimes, or after a long time. All but all, I'm very happy with the house I got from them, but I think the service could be improved.

Negative experience: Reading the comments it all makes sense now, a really unprofessional real state agency. After visiting one of the floors and being assured we could rent it, we sent our information. A few hours later we received a message telling us it was not available. As if this was not enough we were told we were not entitled to any explanation. Regretful.

Negative experience: Just came across the reviews here and even though I've never done a review before, I wanted to take my time to save money for everyone who's thinking of booking a house with this horrible agency. I came in Barcelona 5 years ago and me and my 2 friends decided to book a house with Atbarcelona. We stayed in this house for 2 full years, even paying the summer months when we were going back to our countries, because we really liked that place and we wanted to keep it for longer. Everything seemed okay until we decided to move on... The bottom line is that they robbed our full deposit worth more than 3K, by justifying it with false "damages" such as the wall had a few unnoticable scratches and they had to paint the whole house for this!! I wish I could remember everything that they set up for us, but please save yourselves the stress and money and never book with them. Funny story is that the owner of the house (who actually lived in France) came by the house one day as a friendly visit and he checked the whole house and it was very well maintained as per his own words, but a month later when the agency did their sketchy control of the house, a million damages appeared out of thin air. Again, please never book with them, cannot stress this enough!!!

Unfortunately, you left Several damages in the apartment and the owner asks to repair them, he never was in the apartment until Your contract ends as he was planning to live in the house, he couldn't move in until repair all the broken ítems you left. Negative experience: Desastre. Estafa total y aún luego de varios años nos siguen llegando sus deudas porque ellos no han cancelado los servicios a tiempo !!! Una FALTA de ÉTICA Y RESPETO TOTAL. ESTAFA ABSOLUTA - no alquiléis con ellos!!!
Negative experience: Extremely disappointing service. Went to visit a house and apparently the person in charge of the visit lost the key after we left. Later called us accusing if we took some key from the house. As if we went there with intention to steal the key. Later they told me the house is no longer available as expected. If possible stay away from this agency. Never had any experience of an agency calling me a thief.
Negative experience: Soy estudiante y me he comunicado con ellos para arrendar un piso temporal por 6 meses dado que llegaría mi mascota y ese piso no admite. Me indicaron que el plazo depende de la duración del curso, les indico que tiene finalización en 2023 pero que me gustaría arrendar por menos tiempo (No permite animales) y responden que no se puede porque tendría que ser hasta el 2023. Había leido los comentarios y me resultaba extraño que tuviese tantos negativos. Al final tenían razon, una falta total de seriedad. Parece que no cuidan ni a los propietarios ni a los posibles inquilinos.
Afortunadamente nuestros clientes se encuentran satisfechos con nuestro servicio e intentamos mejorarlo cada día. En su caso la vivienda por la que si interesó la propiedad no admitía mascotas y usted carecía del justificante de temporalidad que exige la legislación para alquilar un piso por temporada, le ofrecimos otras opciones que encajaban más con lo que buscaba pero no tuvimos respuesta de su parte.
Negative experience: I had the worst experience and I realized it more now that I changed to another place where the agency is just correct. When I first moved to the apartment: 1. The first day of rain it just started to rain inside the apartment and I had to deal with it myself for few days and received no apologies or refunds. 2. One month they charged me twice the rent 3. My contract was signed with a printed signature that made the contract not valid for the "padron" and when I tried to get the original signature they made up excuses until I chased them on a daily basis. 4. When I left they took my deposit without even sending justification and when we sent proof of our actual consumption they just ghosted us, never got back the money. The staff is deeply unprofessional, treats you as a money machine, they even laughed at my face. Let you make up your opinion based on these facts, I hope nobody falls in the hands of these people....

Negative experience: Two years with them (11months+11 months in 2 apartments), many problems, poor assistance from the office. Some employees are quite unprofessional. They charged me double by error after the first year of contract. After the first week in first apartment I got rain from the roof and they did not offer any refund or discount. At the end of the stay they made errors regarding bills counting, even if I send them proofs of electricity meters. Many months have passed without receiving my money back, even they keep telling me they're in contact with the owner. I called the owner and she told me they never called her back. I keep waiting but i'm pretty sure I won't have my money back. Very unreconmmened unless you have any other choices.
Negative experience: Nos resquitaron una parte importante de la fianza para asi poder sufragar el mantenimiento que deberian haber hecho antes de alquilar el piso. Desde el momento que entras en el piso hay constantes averias y incidencias debido al poco mantenimiento que se ha hecho anteriormente y renovaron las instalaciones a costa nuestra. Desde el primer momento no hubo una relacion de lealtad
Negative experience: Este aviso va para posibles inquilinos y sobre todo para propietarios que busquen agencia para alquilar su piso. Es la primera vez que hemos tenido que renunciar a alquilar un piso por mal servicio de la agencia. Según sus condiciones, a la hora de renovar el contrato hay que volver a pagar sus honorarios (por cierto, los más caros que he conocido), un gasto innecesario para alguien que quiera vivir en un piso a largo plazo. Buscábamos un piso estable donde vivir indefinidamente, pero a la agencia le interesa que los inquilinos duren poco tiempo ya que cada vez que entra alguien nuevo vuelven a facturar honorarios aunque esto perjudique al propietario. Además, les pedí un borrador del contrato y me dijeron que no lo enviaban si no hacía antes el pago de su comisión. Dudo que esto sea legal siquiera. Finalmente nos hemos echado para atrás a pesar de que tenemos buen perfil y el piso nos gustaba, por lo que el propietario está perdiendo dinero por culpa de las malas prácticas de esta agencia. **** Actualización: La empresa ha respondido a esta reseña con información absolutamente falsa, como que la vivienda era de alquiler temporal (no lo era, lo hablamos con el dueño del piso), como que nos ofrecieron alternativas y no podíamos pagarlo.
Jaime, lamentamos al igual que usted que la situación para encontrar una vivienda en Barcelona sea complicada. Nuestra empresa Atbarcelona = Alquiler Temporal Barcelona cumple con la legalidad y responde a una necesidad de alojamiento diferente de la suya, propietarios e inquilinos que necesitan cubrir una estancia no habitual ya sea porque vienen a la ciudad por un tratamiento médico, estudios , a realizar un proyecto etc es decir no vienen con la intención de residir de forma permanente. Le ofrecimos gracias a nuestra división de Larga estancia opciones de vivienda habitual pero nos indicó que superaban su presupuesto y no los podía pagar. Mucha suerte en su búsqueda !
Negative experience: Mala atención al cliente. Como cliente de At Barcelona, no estoy satisfecho con el trato que he recibido por la mayoría de personas que me han atendido. Carecen de amabilidad y empatía. Aunque son rápidos en la resupuesta ante un problema, y eso es positivo, las formas no son las correctas, parece que realmente les importe poco el nivel de satisfacción del cliente. He tenido la sensación de lidiar con autómatas que se ocupan de hacer transacciones y operaciones burocráticas, pero en ningun caso con personas que entienden mis problemas y necesidades.

Fantastic experience: He alquilado varios pisos con otras agencias en Barcelona y en general ha sido una mala experiencia donde he sentido que no puedo confiar en la agencia y siempre desaparecen después de alquilar el piso. En cambio, ha sido una sorpresa descubrir que ATBarcelona está acompañandote siempre con cualquier cosa que necesites referente al piso durante tu estancia. Reparaciones, limpiezas, suministros.... realmente eso hace que no te tengas que preocupar de nada durante tu estancia y eso te quita un gran pero de encima! Siempre puedes acudir a ellos si necesitas cualquier cosa y ellos se encargan de gestionarlo! Es un servicio de otro nivel!! ENGLISH: I have rented several apartments with other agencies in Barcelona and in general it has been a bad experience where I have felt that I cannot trust the agency and they always disappear after renting the apartment. Instead, it has been a surprise to discover that ATBarcelona is always accompanying you with anything you need regarding the apartment during your stay. Repairs, cleaning, supplies .... really that makes you not have to worry about anything during your stay and that takes a big but off! You can always go to them if you need anything and they manage it! It is a service of another level!!

Negative experience: I see it’s not first opinion like this, they charge for things that they shouldn’t.. they are mere scammers, they make money from lies and understatements. !!! After leaving the flat, they charged me for damages that I did not cause in the apartment, and the costs were totally exorbitant!!! If you care about respect and loyalty, and your money!!! I do not recommend the Atbarcelona agency.
Negative experience: Very bad experience! An agency that does not respond precisely to our requests, that does not justify additional costs. They took us a lot out of the deposit when there was only one person out of 4 in the flat for several months due to Covid-19. Very disappointed, I absolutely do not recommend it. ¡Muy mala experiencia! Una agencia que no responde precisamente a nuestras peticiones, que no justifica los costos adicionales. Nos tomaron mucho en el depósito cuando sólo había una persona de 4 en el apartamento durante varios meses debido a Covid-19. Muy decepcionado, no lo recomiendo en absoluto.
Negative experience: To avoid! 3 people and I rented an apartment from January to July 2020. At several times they have been trying to steal us money with unjustified charges. They just made us pay additional charges for water and electricity even if only person was living in the apartment during the quarantine. They also made us pay HIGH costs for some marks on doors we were not responsible for. For all the time we had to deal with them, it was always like that (charges if you pay the rent because it has to be automatic, never see that in my life!) On a 1000€ deposit, all in all they are trying to steal almost half of it. They are just thieves.
Negative experience: Antes de la situación del Covid-19, ya eran bastante informales y con una atención al cliente bastante defectuosa. Pero lo peor ha sido durante este periodo mencionado, nos bombardean a mails pidiendo que paguemos meses atrasados que, por enésima vez, le dijimos que estamos pendiente a los micro créditos que van a conceder el gobierno. Aún así, en cada mail nos reclaman constantemente esa cantidad. Una auténtica pena lo de esta agencia, sobre todo la empatía y solidaridad con el tema. Eso sí, tenemos goteras desde hace meses y aún estamos esperando a que vengan a arreglarlas o, al menos, a verla y ver que se puede hacer. Por no decir que cada vez que hay alguna avería, tardam días en contestarnos y/o darnos alguna solución. No se la recomiendo a NADIE.
Negative experience: My flat has been rent 5 years with them and all I can say is that they are real thiefs in the rent conditions. Bad customer service and not a serious agency. Mi piso lleva alquilado 5 años con ellos y todo lo que puedo decir es que son auténticos ladrones con las condiciones de alquiler. Mal servicio al cliente y no son serios.
Negative experience: Si buscáis una inmobiliaria seria por vuestro bien olvidaos de esta. Son muy poco profesionales, ineptos y mienten más que hablan, tienes que perseguirlos para que solucionen los problemas que ellos mismos crean. Hace medio año que ya no resido en el inmueble que les alquilé y aún siguen haciéndome perder tiempo y dinero. Les doy una estrella porque no hay opción de poner 0.
Negative experience: Son unos estafadores, llevo sin vivir en el piso 5 meses y me seguian cobrando la luz y el gas, ahora no paran de poner excusas para no devolverme el dinero y los de la luz me piden una factura como si fuese yo el moroso.
Positive experience: Alquilé un piso durante un año y no tuve problemas cuando necesité ayuda en reparaciones.

Negative experience: Es Indignante que en nuestra sociedad actual aún subsistan este tipo de “empresas” si se les puede llamar así, que en su mala praxis, procuren siempre su beneficio económico a cuesta de engañar a las personas. Como persona, trabajadora asalariada como la gran mayoría de este país, es frustrante tener la desdicha de resibir un servicio de personas que se hacen llamar “profesionales”, Y qué el resultado sea insatisfacción e irá. No quiero profundizar en mi caso, pero si alguien tiene la oportunidad de ver este comentario, tiene dos posibilidades, una arriesgarse a vivir una pésima experiencia como Me ocurrió con esta inmobiliaria, o elegir a otra inmobiliaria que seguro les brindará un mejor servicio.
