In July, we hired the services of this real estate agency to sell the house where we lived due to the liquidation of my parents' community property. Since it was a very unpleasant process for my mother, who had lived in that house for over 30 years, we made it quite clear that we did NOT want to sell to investors, and if there was no other option, the sale price would not be negotiable. At first, everything was good words and good intentions, trying to empathize with us, but as we approached the end of the exclusive contract, he presented us with a buyer who claimed the apartment would be for her, as she lived alone, and although he did not provide any facilities for us to leave the property, due to pressure and to finally end the process, we ultimately decided to sell to this lady. To our surprise, a few days after the signing of the sale, the new owner told us that agent MARCO ANTONIO ORTEGA had advised her during the visit to lie to us and say the house was for her when in reality it was an investor who would benefit from the misfortune of others. Agent MARCO ANTONIO ORTEGA negotiated a price well below what was agreed for a speculator, and he didn't care as long as the sale was made and he received the promised fees. He lied to our faces and made others involved lie to us for the benefit of everyone EXCEPT for his clients who trusted him and his word and hired his services.

We made it very clear that we did NOT want to sell to investors and that, if we did, the selling price we stipulated would be respected because in order for them to make money, we had to make money too. The sale of the house is a 'forced' sale as it is due to the liquidation of jointly owned assets, so our wish was that if it was sold, we preferred it to be to a private individual. A few days after the signing of the property sale, the new owner told us that agent MARCO ANTONIO ORTEGA told her during the visit to lie to us and say that the house was for her when in reality it was an investor who was going to benefit from the misfortune of others. Agent MARCO ANTONIO ORTEGA negotiated a price well below what we indicated for investors but didn't care as long as the sale went through and he could keep the fees that were promised to him. He lied to our faces, all because there was only 1 week left until the exclusivity contract we had with that company was fulfilled. He is a deceitful person who will do whatever it takes to benefit himself.

Negative experience: Personally, I do not recommend the services of this real estate agency. I had the opportunity to work with the agency Tu Piso on two occasions. The first time, I was lucky that Alfonso took care of our sale. He is an excellent and compassionate person. The second time I used this agency, I had to deal with two incompetent and rude people. David, who has no idea what he is doing or how to remain calm during the buying and selling process. My personal lawyer had to explain to me how the procedures should be carried out. The other person is one of the owners of the agency, named OSCAR. He has brought bad habits from Argentina to Spain. He is very arrogant, rude, deceitful, and above all, malicious with other people's money. This person (Oscar) includes hidden clauses in the reservation contracts he prepares, saying that 'the deposit money will be held in the company's custody.' I reside in the United States for work and educational reasons, and what I needed was transparency in things, but that is the least they have provided me. Sometimes, I even contemplated the possibility of losing the sale of my apartment in the Atocha area of Madrid. They took the liberty of doing whatever they wanted with the deposit. I had to settle some debts I had with the apartment in order to finalize the sale, but Oscar denied us access to the money throughout the process. If anyone wants proof of what I am saying, please feel free to contact me. All I want is to make sure that the next person does not fall into the hands of these criminals. He did not care about the situation and was willing to leave my sister, my brother-in-law, and my three nieces homeless. He took everything with our apartment.

Negative experience: A complete nonsense from start to finish. We made an offer on a flat and it was rejected. When we were making an offer on another flat, they suddenly appeared again accepting our initial offer, and when we requested documentation to secure it, they stopped responding because they had a buyer who was paying more. In other words, they used us to get counteroffers. Now I also have no chance of recovering the other flat. I feel prejudiced and scammed. I have all kinds of documentation that proves what I'm saying. What a lack of professionalism. I have consulted with lawyers to see if it's worth reporting.

After 10 days, he called us to inform us that our offer had been accepted, and to our surprise, he called us again yesterday to say that there is a higher offer for the apartment and that we are out again. In parallel, we had made an offer on another apartment and we immediately called to withdraw it once Marco Antonio called us and confirmed our offer. All of this shows a lack of ethics and professionalism on the part of this representative and the brand he represents. We feel scammed and used, especially since we now have neither of the two properties. All of this can be substantiated through various documentary means.
