Fantastic experience: Salvador from RE/MAX Calm managed the purchase process of a building Plot with license in Pollensa, Mallorca, very professionally. Meetings, VCs, information and documents delivery always on time. Effective and result-oriented management of the negotiation process between seller and buyer. Procative post-deal support to establish contacts to potential partners and companies for the planned building project. Overall, clearly my best broker experience in Mallorca during the last ten years.

Negative experience: In our case, it has turned out to be a disaster, a waste of time, and a major disappointment. The feeling of helplessness has been huge, their salesperson (who doesn’t even speak Spanish) insisted on meeting with us to capture a property we had with other real estate agencies, selling us a story about the number of foreign clients they handled, and the first thing they did was recommend raising the price (which we found surprising and a curious technique, but they insisted that it would attract more clients and better ones). After 9 months in which they literally did nothing more than put ads on Idealista, we communicated our intention to not continue with them and SURPRISE, the contract was for a year of exclusivity. Despite not having received visits or performed the work for which they were hired, they insisted that we had to fulfill the contract. It was also our fault for accepting a salesperson who didn’t speak Spanish and trusting their word, thinking it was for 6 months. When we were informed that we had to fulfill the 12 months regardless, we requested a report on the commercial actions taken during the 9 months that had passed since their argument for capturing exclusive properties is that they would actively work to promote the property stating on their own website, 'it is a commitment from the agency and the agent to you. In this way, the agent will do everything in their power to achieve results, which could be translated into selling your house in the shortest time and for the best price possible. Marketing plan, call filtering, economic feasibility study of buyers, visits, distribution of the property, positioning of the same, optimal valuation of the home, home staging, legal and administrative procedures... all this is done by your agent if you sign the exclusive rights to your property'. Not only did we not receive that information, but we also lost another 3 months, with no action on their part, no visits, no requests for information, NOTHING. However, the salesperson informed us that if during these 3 months we sold the property with another real estate agency, they would be happy to share the commission, meaning they would charge for something they didn’t sell and take advantage of the work of others. I do not recommend them at all. Before the response to the review is that you don’t recognize us as clients, the sales request is in my husband’s name and I imagine that since you have received several emails from me informing about the same, you know who we are very well.
