Negative experience: I hired the services of this real estate agency to rent my apartment, which was a task that had no complications given the high demand in the area, the location, and the characteristics of the property. I wanted to do it through an agency to make it more convenient, and it turned out to be a deplorable service due to the amount of misinformation, complications, lies, and irregularities throughout the process, especially from the agent assigned to me (which already says a lot about a company hiring such poorly qualified staff) as well as the rest of the people who assisted me, who simply dedicated themselves to covering up and justifying the malpractice of the aforementioned. I could go into countless details that explain the bad review, but it would take too long, and I have already experienced enough wear and tear and anxiety because of these terrible professionals, and I know that the experience was just as ungrateful for the tenant. I do not recommend it to anyone. It is better to rent yourself through Wallapop. This is the first time I am renting my house, and of course, I will never count on these people again, and I wish no one to go through what I have experienced by choosing an agency with such little professional ethics when it was something that should have been a piece of cake.

Negative experience: After two months that I needed to regain my strength, I will comment step by step how the purchase went with Belén del Río, a saleswoman from Century 21 in Parets del Vallés. On 24/07/2023, she contacted me via WhatsApp since I was interested in an ad they had published on Habitaclia. On 26/07/2023, she told me to call her on Monday to discuss the visit. On 31/07/2023, she mentioned that she was on vacation, but that on 10/08/2023 she could do a visit. We couldn't do the visit because she forgot the keys, we discussed issues about the apartment, and she would let me know if another day was possible, with a rather erratic attitude. A week later, I reminded her that we still had the visit pending. Finally, on 22/08/2023, the visit took place but with her daughter, and she couldn't provide us with information about the apartment as is logical. While at the apartment with an accomplice and Belén's daughter, we discussed the topic of furniture. At that moment, we called her, and I mentioned that the wardrobes and maybe the table would be good if they stayed. And that if the person currently living in that apartment left anything else, it would be better. We are human, and we may forget some keys, but I see no justification for the whole mess of dates and the visit that she did not conduct but rather a relative, who, as far as I know, does not work at Century 21. Reviewing the draft of the deposit, I notice that they want me to pay the proportional part of the property tax (IBI), when by law, the current year's IBI must be paid by the seller, not the buyer. It is true that an agreement can be reached on this issue, especially if the sale takes place in the first months of the year, but it should always be communicated, which was not done, but rather it was imposed, and if you notice, well and if not, then also. Belén tried by all means to make me feel guilty since the apartment was being sold to me cheaper than what the ad indicated so that I would assume the cost of the proportional part, to which I refused, and finally, she had to withdraw it, for which I should be grateful as it seemed she was doing me a favor. With the secured date, I scheduled a complete move of my apartment since I had not received a response about the furniture, no inventory, or anything, being so close to the signing, I understood that the tenant preferred to leave the apartment empty and did not want to bother about something that was ultimately an "extra". When I mentioned this to Belén, she said the apartment was completely furnished, and that if I wasn't informed, it was my fault for not getting involved in the topic. To all this, I commented that there was no inventory and that I was unaware that I had to follow up with her to inform me of something as basic as informing the buyer of the conditions under which the apartment would be delivered. After trying to twist everything to practically say that the fault was mine and that she did not remember anything I discussed when we called her. From here on, it is clear that I will manage everything in writing and I start requesting all the documentation and information that has not been sent to me and that I have only heard about. I understand that by then, she was annoyed with me, she started responding with one-word answers and did not provide me with what I requested. On 23/10/2023, two days before the signing, I don't know if the amount they told me about fees is true; I don't know the situation of the community and I don’t even know if the certificate they provide me is valid. I also have not seen property tax receipts to know what the annual amount is. From Century's side, as I indicated, if it had only been a matter of forgetting the keys, I could understand it, but everything that came after was not expected. She should be a professional, who charges her fees, who should take care of the whole process and inform all parties appropriately. And not respond to me as if "the property is who pays her," to which I replied that: She was not performing the commercial mediation work that she was supposed to. According to my experience, which I have narrated as best as I could and with the greatest respect I could find, I would not recommend dealing with Century 21 at all.
