Negative experience: I was very interested in a flat in Buenavista in Toledo, to my surprise when I called they told me that I had to pay the agency fee (1 month = 800€), plus obviously the current month and the security deposit month. Currently, according to the Housing Law, in section four of the final provision first, the Urban Leasing Law of 1994 is amended. The text states that the costs of real estate management and the formalization of the contract will be borne by the landlord, but according to this real estate agency, when I told them that it was illegal, their response was that 'this is what we agreed with the landlord'... Speechless, and that if I wanted we could each pay half (for a service that the landlord has contracted and that does not benefit me at all). I should have said yes and then claimed it judicially, but the truth is that it made me see that they would bring us problems for not going with the truth upfront. It's a shame that there are real estate agencies and owners who want to continue taking advantage of tenants.
