Fantastic experience: A completely professional and thorough service was provided when we sold our property. All the paperwork was sorted promptly to allow for the swift and easy process to notary once a sale was agreed. Viewings were carried out by Micheal, Mark & Karen who were always presented well & knowledgeable about our property. All the other staff that we had dealings with were also very professional. The photos & video were of such great quality it generated 20 viewers in 6 weeks when a previous agent had only generated 6 viewers in 9 months. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We used Barclays 15 years ago to buy our home they were very helpful then and also during the 15 years they have helps us in a number of ways including building works and mains water problems. So when we wanted to sell earlier this year they were our first choice. Again they have been very helpful and made the process of selling as smooth as it could be. Fantastic experience: On January 23th, 2023 I had my first contact with Barclay/Watson because I wanted to buy a house in Spain (I live in the Netherlands). First I came in contact with Jess, a lovely young lady. After a video conversation with her, I immediately knew that I had found the right real estate agent. Jess put me in contact with Michael, also a very kind man who showed me the house through video. Michael helped me tremendously and took away all my worries. That gave me enough confidence after which I bought the house and immediately made a down payment. The next step was to travel to Spain to see the house up close. That was exactly as they had told me and I was immediately sold again. Then I got in touch with Christian, another kind man. He sorted out all the legal information and helped me step by step until I finally went to Spain on April 6 to sign the contract. Christian had already made an appointment with the notary. Carin, Barclay's nice interpreter, took me to the notary and translated and explained all the documents. So I almost bought a house remotely within a few months thanks to Barclay. The Barclay team took everything off my hands and guided me completely up to and including the notary. Jess, Michael, Christian and Carin you did a fantastic job for which many thanks!! I will recommend Barclay and her team to anyone who wants to buy a house in Spain. GREAT!!

They have a Dutch-speaking agent, which is very nice if you (as a Dutch person) want to buy real estate abroad. They understand the urbanization, are honest, and legally check everything neatly for you. Great! If you are Dutch and want to buy something, come here... also if you are not Dutch, of course.

Fantastic experience: We decided to pick Watsons/Barclays estate agents based on Google reviews. We spent a morning with Richard. Nothing was too much trouble. We saw a range of properties. Richard had obviously worked hard to understand our requirements putting in the hard work in advance so our precious time as Brits buying abroad was used effectively. The company are hugely helpful and knowledgeable about the intricacies of buying abroad, another plus in terms of the whole process. Whilst we ultimately decided the area, beautiful though it was, wasn't for us, we have no hesitation in recommending them. A top service. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Living in Ireland and thinking of buying a property thousands of miles away was something that was exiting but at the same time quite scary for me but after talking to a few people from several agencies, Barclays was the one that stood out. Luckily my decision was the right one, they went out their way for me virtually holding my hand from the beginning with a full list of properties to view to the end when they signed the contract on my behalf and even when I was experiencing delays with the bank I chosen for the mortgage, they immediately jumped in and got everything sorted very quickly. They always kept me informed and the whole process took a little more than 1 month. I am now a house owner in a beautiful area and I can't wait to start spending my holidays and eventually my retirement in the house of my dreams. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I am very grateful to the Barclays Team for all the help.

Fantastic experience: Barclays /Watsons properties are without doubt the best estate agents on La Marina and surrounding area ,from initial enquiry to completion nothing is to much trouble , they have a amazing team (esp vicki and Karen ) who take you through every step of the process both buying or selling , they arrange bank account ,sort currency exchange , make sure all bills are settled and new utilities are set up in your name ,take you to completion , translate and sure all documentation are legal and correct… to be honest I have had more problems buying a car than buying a property here , and I have sold one and bought three and will only deal with them … if you want a very professional company who will make buying a place in Spain enjoyable and stress free I would throughly recommend you use them …

Fantastic experience: Karen was very professional when we bought our property , nothing was too much trouble for her . The office staff in La Marina were superb , professional and polite at all times . I would always recommend this company, it pays to go to them , an example today a simple telephone call asking to supply a document was emailed within minutes . Wow what a service !!! Fantastic experience: Barclays and Watson have done a professional job for us. Their knowledge of the procedures selling our house was outstanding and so is their customer service. Always ready to answer any question, regardless by e-mail or in Person, this team is ready when you are! And yes, you pay commission, but looking back, you are not able to deal with a buyer and all the necessary paperwork to be completed for the Spanish government and the Notary. It's worth the money. I don't want to say thank you to separate persons, because it is the team that has the power...so thank you for a job well done.
