Marma Inmobiliaria: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Exquisite treatment, delighted with the speed and efficiency of the work. Just want to thank them for the quickness with which they sold us the flat.
Negative experience: Don't rent apartments here! Sorry for the rant I'm about to go on, but I don't want anyone to find themselves in the same situation we did by trusting this real estate agency, which is the worst I've encountered in my life. In summary, this agency cares more about money than providing apartments in good condition, and they keep your deposit for almost 4 months for 'future bills that might come.' We rented an apartment they managed for a year, and I say they managed it because we never had direct contact with the landlord; therefore, everything I will outline next, which in a normal situation would be the landlord's responsibility, is theirs. First of all, when trying to rent it, we had to call a thousand times just to get them to show us the apartment. When we finally rented it and were about to move in, it turns out that the kitchen sink, which they claimed was draining poorly and they would fix before we arrived, was not just draining poorly – it wasn't working at all, and we had to deal with it broken for over a month, washing dishes in the bathroom. The intercom, which also didn't work, we chased them from September until practically April for them to come and fix it. Living on the fourth floor without an elevator and having to go down every time we wanted to let someone in was a hassle. And like that, there were many other defects in the apartment that we weren’t aware of and found out about as days went by, as well as having all the remnants of the apartment's renovation in the laundry corridor because the landlord 'had nowhere to store it.' Everything in the apartment was done as poorly as possible, so it was that during the months we stayed there, the curtains and their fixtures fell off, the furniture came apart due to improper assembly, and the flooring lifted because it was installed without proper leveling. Also, we were not informed that the water pressure – cold was fine, but when using hot water, it turned into a tiny stream that was unable to wash even, imagine taking a shower. The shower, keep this in mind because it's very interesting, was supposed to have a screen that broke at some point in its life, and instead of fixing it, they installed a curtain as best they could, without brackets or anything, the pressure pipe and the curtain just hanging there. Our surprise came when, upon leaving the apartment, they claimed that the shower curtain was broken and that we had to replace it; something that breaks from use is not the tenant's responsibility to pay for, especially when the installation is incorrect. They have more nerve than a cat. And I'll finish by saying that upon leaving the apartment, they retained our deposit to cover any outstanding bills; we expressed our disagreement with this, but they practically forced us. They have held that money from June to October without providing a single bill. I should mention that we never delayed a single month on either the rent or the bills. When we were about to consider suing them, we finally received the bills and were able to close this chapter. I am not interested in the excuses they might give for their attitude; it was really exhausting to live in that apartment and to have to chase Nico (the one who managed our lease from the beginning) to get him to fix any nonsense or non-nonsense that happened to us. Don't rent apartments here!
Negative experience: They rent an apartment with hidden defects. Last month, they went to my husband at his work, showing people a photo of him. (It is a crime to disclose photographs without the consent of the affected party) How brave they were, two of them went for him and today a threatening call.
Negative experience: It doesn't seem enough to rent an apartment with major hidden defects like leaks, and they also lie about who restricted the contract and the reasons for the restriction. Moreover, months go by and I continue receiving unpleasant emails intended to provoke.
Negative experience: They are impressive, you spend a whole week trying to talk to them and they don’t pick up the phone at any normal time, which is normal to have bad reviews, and on top of that, they play the victim trying to always be right. They should be reported for the poor management they do and they leave ads published that are no longer available. As for me, I know perfectly well what I have to do and their landline, never but never do they pick it up, it's impossible. I don't know where to send my complaint.
Fantastic experience: Everything was perfect, they just sold us a house in Astillero and everything was great, especially Nicolás who was attentive at all times. Thank you.
